Photographer & Videographer
Olha Shchukina
With a background in Film Production from the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema, and Television, I began my creative journey through moving images. During my university years, I started producing videos for small brands and their social media, developing my eye for visual storytelling.
2024 was a pivotal year for me; around the same time I got married, I was also commissioned to film my first wedding. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, revealing the deep beauty of capturing human relationships.
While video was my first language, I have always felt a profound love for photography. To follow this passion, I completed a professional photography course at EIMA (Escuela Internacional de Medios Audiovisuales) in Madrid in 2025. It was here that my passion for still imagery truly found its place.
My work is heavily shaped by the language of cinematography and influenced by the aesthetics of directors like Wes Anderson, Wong Kar-wai, and Bernardo Bertolucci. I’m drawn to clean compositions and colors, genuine human emotion, symbolism, and an editorial touch.
Here you’ll find a selection of my work; I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy creating it.
